FMLC takes part in the XVI Social Conference on Grief Elaboration

Our psychologist Sara Losantos will join the 16th edition of the Social Conference on Grief Elaboration that will take place on 10th and 11th March; an event that is organised on a yearly basis in Albacete by the Talitha association. Its aim is to off bereavers tools to accompany and to help them manage their grief, as well as aid in breaking stereotypes and eradicate taboos surrounding loss, suicide and death.

This year’s conference will feature four presentations and a round-table that will address issues involving grief, such as the spiritual dimension of loss, love, humour or the bonds in grief.

Grief and love

Sara Losantos’s intervention “Grief, love, a part of our biography or a theory: Grieving from various prisms”, will take place on Friday 10th at 4:30 p.m. During the lecture, she will outline a global vision of grief, going from the most basic elements through to the highest level of grief. Throughout her speech, she will discuss the most agreed upon definitions, some explanatory theories and a main theory based on clinical experience.

The sessions may be followed live through Talitha’s YouTube channel. In order to find out more information regarding the programme or register for the event, you can contact the Talitha association via phone (+34 674 859 568) or through their website.
