FMLC, in the Health Communication course of the University of Murcia

Last Wednesday, 14th September, the Mario Losantos del Campo Foundation (FMLC) took part in the ‘Health Communication in the Information Society’ course, organised by the University of Murcia. For the second consecutive edition, Sara Losantos, head of Grief Psychology in FMLC, was invited to offer a lecture

Directed towards professionals working in the health-science’s field, this training activity will take place between 14th and 17th September. The course aims to analyse the current situation and establish the necessary requirements in order to identify possible intervention strategies and improve communication with patients, through the acquisition of new techniques and skills designed to enhance the training of current professionals and future generations, in the absence of formal training in this field.

Sara Losantos intervened with the lecture “Communicating grief to adults. Managing complicated grief”, in which she addressed essential aspects pertaining grief, offering her knowledge and professional experience with the desire to raise awareness around the importance of knowing how to transmit information during these processes.
